James J. Mabrey, born and raised in BVHP, Charles Drew Elementary School, Gloria R. Davis Middle School, Sacred Heart Cathedral High School Graduate, basketball, football, track and field and music star. All American Track and field Athlete at CCSF. Worked in construction for my father James Sr. For over 10 years, then went into Public Health with the Organization Max415 at Sf General Hospital, Laguna Honda Hospital, and now we are at Thurgood Marshall High School offering services focused on mental and physical health along with career pathway things, we also pay them a stipend to be in our program.
